• PDF Security tools (Protect, Unlock, Redact)
• PDF Editing tools (Edit, Sign, Watermark, Page Numbers, Forms)
• OCR (Optical Character Recognition) for PDFs

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or the entire Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

You agree to use Free PDF Maker only for lawful purposes. You must NOT use the Service to:

• Process, distribute, or create illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent content
• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Infringe intellectual property rights, copyrights, trademarks, or patents of any third party
• Process personal data of others without appropriate consent or legal basis
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the Service beyond normal browser use
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features or rate limiting

When you upload files to Free PDF Maker:

• You represent that you have the legal right to process those files.
• You are responsible for ensuring the files you upload comply with applicable laws and do not infringe third-party rights.
• File limits: Maximum 50 MB per file, maximum 500 pages, valid PDF format only for PDF tools.
• Rate limits: Free users are subject to processing rate limits (20 requests per 10 minutes) to ensure fair access for all users.
• Temporary storage: Files processed server-side are automatically deleted within 30 minutes. Browser-side processing never sends files to our servers.
• No guarantees: We do not guarantee that processing will succeed for all files, particularly corrupted or highly complex documents.

5.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Free PDF Maker website, branding, design, source code, and all associated content are the exclusive intellectual property of Free PDF Maker. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

5.2 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all files and content you process through our tools. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary, non-exclusive license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the requested tool functionality. This license expires immediately after processing is complete.

5.3 Copyright Compliance

Do not process copyrighted materials you do not own or do not have permission to modify. We comply with applicable copyright laws and will respond appropriately to valid copyright infringement notices.

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
• That the Service will meet your specific requirements

• That files will be recoverable if browser session is lost

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, without notice or liability. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
